I'm Married Brain Dump

-News to me and you, I will be celebrating my second wedding anniversary as Mrs Bellman in April
-Idol was boring tonight. I really like the 16 yr old little black country singer and i think she did good and i feel bad that they ripped her to shreds.
-I think im getting sick again. like the 90th time this winter.
-Saw Valentine's Day, cute but dumb. I'll probably see it again.
Saw Wolfman, hated it. Obvious. Also freaking scary.
Saw Shutter Island, also hated it. Its like 3 hours too long.
-I got a new little gig. I'll be working a wedding this week....

for these two lovebirds. I'm not sure I'm even allowed to say that, but oh well. i just did. It airs on March 8th, you better watch it!
-My life is about to get a lot more physical, my inhaler is ready for pickup at the pharmacy!
-Went to Nicoles classes this last weekend and learned lots of illustrator info. So excited about it.
-Paula took me as her date to the Will Ferrell and Friends show...ummmm it was awesome.

Disney with Nicole

On thursday I went to Disneyland for the ENTIRE day with Nicole. She's in town to teach art weekend in LA so we hit up the park for a little pre-party. Very fun, we had a great time. And by the end of tomorrow i should be a professional at illustrator. STAY TUNED.

oh the dentist.

I got a root canal this morning.

i have jacked teeth...what can i say? All the Lewis kids do, minus Erin with her good teeth and perfect skin.
(and yes that's two root canals on neighboring teeth)
and i watched the whole thing on the ceiling, which was cool for a minute but then got totally creepy. That's my tooth and my blood. BARF.

Visual Days

As you know I work part-time at Anthropologie. I was able to work with the Display Coordinator and Visual Manager for a few days working on our spring windows and visuals in the store.

we don't have normal windows at our store, so the visual team decided on changing the facade of our store front instead.

I worked on the front portion of the store. The concept is "Urban Garden" and they had me sew the canvas panels with pockets for flowers.

My next project for Urban Garden was the apron made of the same canvas. They showed me a simple apron, but i don't do anything simple. I like to complicate everything. So i came up with this guy. I love it. I am not a seamstress and was shocked i could actually make something for a clothing store that didn't embarrass me.

The back straps are fully functioning and button under neath the waistband so you can wear it criss crossed or halter if you'd like. Or i guess if the "form" would like. And i love the bow. Big and huge and just the way i like my bows.

I would choose to work in the art room any day over being on the sales floor. I really hope my manager is reading this :)
