Help!
I'm going to Dancing With the Stars on Tuesday
to see my little Chelsie dance her tushy off....
...and i don't know what to wear.
Do i wear a ballgown? Cause I don't have one.
The fanciest I can do is a No.2 Pencil skirt or a Shabby Apple dress.
I'm serious.
BAHAHAHAH i will for sure be wearing my Louboutins, though.
(hopefully the Kardashians are there! Specifically LAMAR)

Kitty's and Todd's big day
![]() |
i LOVE this photo. They are so happy and in love!
Roxanne asked me back in May to be her wedding planner...and one of her bridemaids. 2 things I have never done simultaneously.
It proved to be quite the impossible task...but was pulled off miraculously (not without help!)
Here are a few pictures from the wedding...
Bridemaids and Bride at the rehearsal dinner the night before, in Springville
Beth, Richelle, Roxanne, Megan, Benita and myself.
The night before the wedding i was up until 4am, getting everything in order including all the artwork
which you will later hear about...nightmare
these two were scribbled out at probably 3am, just to fill the last two frames, and they turned out to be my favorites.
The day of, i got up at 8am to meet the rental company. As soon as the tent was up I wanted to be able to start bringing in all of my stuff.
The day was GORGEOUS...until 2. I had been working on my hanging gallery wall, of all the art (we wanted to have an art gallery of paintings and drawings of the couple done by friends and family), for about an hour or two when the rain started coming down...and HARD. I had to scramble to disassemble the wall before all the artwork was completely ruined. It was devastating to me. I don't think anyone else really cared, and we did find easels and places to place all the art, but my pride and joy of the reception had to be scraped :( And the rental company had to come and put up HIDEOUS white plastic walls. IT WAS UGLY and again, no one cares but me.
this was taken as i was putting up the wall so you get an idea of how rad it would have looked behind the wedding party table

Lyrics to their wedding song. The DJ messed up and ended up playing the UB40 version. WHOOPS.

the girl to my right with the denim top caught the bouquet...i mean, look at her face. OF COURSE she caught it. She meant serious business.

awesome white wall.
i just love Roxanne so much and am so excited for her and Todd, both.
I had never met Todd until the day before the wedding, and I can just honestly say he is perfect for her.
Listening to him speak at the rehearsal dinner and the things he had to say about my little kitty cat, just made me cry (i know you think its nothing since i cry at everything from Lamar's tweets to Beyonce's pregnancy-I'm emotional these days guys! get over it!) and I just know he will take such good care of her and their family. He's the real deal, guys, and hes pretty hot too so theres that.
The reception didn't go off without a hitch. I wish it would have gone smoother and that the rain would never have happened. The good thing is that it was as pretty as we could make it and that everyone thought it was the bomb, even though I secretly was holding back stress tears all night.
As we went to set up the site that morning, my sister was like "this is so nice!" and we started talking about how her reception was in someones backyard and wasnt heavily deocrated, and no tent, and none of the bells and whistles...and then we decided, WHO CARES?
It's about the marriage, not the details.
But for the planner its about the details and i feel like a big ol Loser because of that rain.
UGH.
K, Debbie Downer signing off.
(Shoutout to my sister Megan for being my slave/assistant)

Lemonade
When I first moved to LA I lived in the Venice area, and my roommate Gabrielle and I would often do exploring. We found the cutest place on Venice and Abbot Kinney called Lemonade .
It was easy for me to love. I LOVE lemonade. And i love good food and i LOVE LOVE LOVE a good logo and branding. This place has it all.
My cuz Alyssa called me today while I was at work saying she was in LA waiting around for a flight (shes a flight attendant so this happens often), so after work I rushed to LAX to grab her to have some dinner. We ended up at Lemonade.
I ordered the Blood Orange Lemonade, Alyssa went with Cucumber Mint. Mine was better, but I already knew that since I have had them all.
Have you ever seen a happier girl?
The Macaroon cookie was so big. Thats only half of it in my palm. We went with chocolate and also a lemon meringue pie. Delicious.
Oh my gosh its SO good.
Run, don't walk.

Attention Shoppers!
I had a run in with Jenny Jones on Friday night.
Remember her? I for sure do.
I was working and had helped her.
She had just left and i said to a co-worker
"I knew who she was by her voice, shes the voice of my youth."
And a customer laughed at me.

But seriously.
She is the voice of my youth.
My whole family used to watch this show and laugh our heads off. Just ask my mom.
She does a really good "You dont KNOOOOOW me. I look good!"
a few stats on her as of Friday. She is in her 60's. Her real name is Jan.
She wears a size 12 and her hair in pigtails.
She also has a boyfriend/husband with a long gray ponytail.
and she bought this shirt.

We should be best friends...
I'm watching 3 Men and a Little Lady right now,
and remembering how much I loved it when i was younger.
The spiral staircase in the apartment, Tom Selleck the architect and his mustache,
"Goodnight Sweetheart" singing,
"Goodnight Sweetheart" singing,
a british mom, New York, the painted mural....
...little Mary.
I wanted 3 dads to take me into the mens bathroom with a blindfold on.
I was wondering what ever happened to Mary. Child Stars fascinate me.
A quick IMDB/Wikipedia search, i found out her new last name
and that she married her highschool sweetheart, which led me to facebook to find her.
She lives in Florida.
A small(LARGE) part of me wants to friend request her...
we both have brown hair and love sequins so I am pretty sure we would be tight.
does anyone know how old the guys in this movie are supposed to be?
Cause in my head they are like 50
but I am pretty sure they are supposed to be late 20s which makes me depressed.
How am i old enough to be the same age as old guys in movies?

September Brain Dump
-Can you even believe its September already?
We went to the beach today and it was apparent that summer has ended.
I wore a blazer tonight and moccasins.
I've been eyeing wool pants and sweaters and Halloween costumes.
Where has the time gone?
Who cares, i love FALL!
-Celebrated Cami's birthday tonight at Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles.
I can't believe i have lived in LA for almost 3 years and have never been there.
I also can't believe i have lived in LA for almost 3 years....crazy.
Anyway, Chicken and Waffles is a real good combo.
-I've watched Tangled 4 days in a row on streaming Netflix, and no, not with any children.
Just by myself.
I promptly downloaded the soundtrack too and I keep singing in my head
"...when will my life begin?"
So good.
-My sister sent me her old iPhone in the mail today.
It's sad how much i missed Instagram.
Pathetic, really.
BUT I'M BACK, and that's the important thing.
-How cray cray is Melissa on Bachelor Pad?
Glad she is gone cause she was stressing me out, but sad shes gone because she is AWESOME.
-Spending quite a few hours at my local Jcrew and not hating that :)
And I am getting pretty good at folding.
It's been a while since I worked retail, and let me tell you, I missed having a discount.
Glad my discount now is at my fave store.
-I know every word to the Nicki Minaj CD.
I love her. Also she is VERY ANGRY.
-Spent some time this week with some random people who know stuff...(vague much?)
Will Smith is gay, guys. Sorry to burst your bubble.
-Been swimming a lot up at my girlfriends house...
sometimes till 6am, cause we are party animals!
-Went dancing last night with a big group of friends and randoms at this bar on Sunset and had a drunk girl ask me to come dance with her, but before she could ask me and Gabes, she fell out of one of her shoes and into our arms.
Another chick was full on wearing nude shapewear as a dress and i most def saw her vag.
And lastly, Chelsie taped a guy throwing up all over himself and then i almost sat in it. ALMOST.
-I have a testimony of Zappos.
Because of a mistake of mine, a pair of shoes i got were replaced and then comped for free.
Seriously. AWESOME.
-I was sent a flatiron from a celebrity makeup artist in New York to try.
SO awesome and fun.
She also sent me some amazing Nexxus product that has seriously revived my hair, which by the way is now almost to my butt which is just UNACCEPTABLE and gross.
I will be cutting it soon, don't worry.
I will be posting soon about said flatiron with a link of where to buy it and probs a before and after of my long polygamist hair.
-Loving that its fall, loving September...that means almost Christmas!
Michael's has their Christmas stuff out already...makes me so happy.
-Getting closer and closer to my kitty Roxannes wedding!
I am excited to get to Utah to see her and meet her fiance.
Not going to be so bad to see my little nephew Owen too!
