I know you love your animals. I've explained before that I don't understand the love that some humans have for dogs and cats...that maybe that portion of my heart is missing. This letter though is not to discuss the love for your creature. I need to bring something up. It's important.

I don't think you know this, but your house smells. Sometimes it stinks, but it always smells. Maybe dogs were created to be our friends. To help us not be lonely. Maybe they were created to teach children responsibility. I know one thing is for sure...they were not created to live inside your house.

I know you think that your house is clean. It might even look like this...


but I'm sorry...ITS NOT CLEAN TO HAVE ANIMALS LIVING IN YOUR HOME. Your house looks like this in my eyes.

it makes me not want to come over. IT SMELLS. And it can't possibly be clean.

Maybe the jokes on me, and this is your way of not having to un-invite me over since i wont be coming anyway....but seriously. I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO FEELS THIS WAY.

If you love your pets, give them their own home. You wouldn't want to live with a family of dogs in a doghouse would you? NO.

Film Festival Time

I live in LA.
Most of my friends here dabble in the entertainment industry, so it shouldn't shock anyone that our ward had a film festival as an activity.

The theme this year was "The Twisted Tales of Tim Burton" and I am on the activities committee so i got a chance to have a hand in the decorations, and let me tell you...it was pretty awesome.

I only have a picture of one part of the Charlie and Chocolate Factory area, but a guy in the ward MADE a chocolate fountain/river. NO JOKE. A pool pump, a hose and a lot of hot chocolate powder. It was awesome.

Beetlejuice was around, as well as Edward Scissorhands, Alice in Wonderland and of course, The Nightmare Before Christmas.

It was a great time, a huge success and I will leave you with one of my favorite films from the festival, by my buddy and old friend Cameron.

For those asking...

I have had a few emails and comments from you guys wanting to know how i know Kasey from the Bachelor.
There have also been quite a few "Guard & Protect your Heart" jokes as well.
They are always funny.

You see, my friend Dave and i were chatting one day and we were so bored and laughing so hard about all things Bachelor related, so we decided to try and find some of the guys on facebook.
Well i found Kasey, so we both added him.
Since Dave is not a lady, his friendship request was never approved.

Don't start thinking i am weird, i dont go around adding people i dont know, and especially not people from TV, but i was just in one of those moods and i am sure glad I was because its been QUITE hilarious to see his very deep status updates and all of his ridiculous pictures.




So there you have it.
Sometimes i chat with him on FB because i think its hilarious to indulge him, and i think its equally as hilarious that he actually chats me back.

Maybe I will be blonde tomorrow...Brain Dump

-I'm not the most patient person in the entire world. I had a hair appt with my friend Melissa for today to get my hair lifted to, oh...like a level 10 blonde (did i mention she was going to be doing this for free? uh yeah, shes pretty rad).

Eeeek. I didnt chicken out, the timing was just off and I couldnt make it. Well now i am in this mode where i am like I NEED IT BLONDE AND IT NEEDS TO BE NOW.
So its very possible that I dig some bleach out of my old dusty metal Paul Mitchell kit and just do it myself tomorrow.
Dont worry about the drawing i did of myself in photoshop.
I didnt want you thinking that I thought i would look like Heidi Klum after all of this
and leaving the face blank was even more creepy if you can imagine.

-I've been sort of having mini panic attacks and majorly depressed days lately do to my lack of a job (no questions or comments on this matter please because i literally will start crying at the drop of a hat), which makes me pretty sure why i found a gray hair a week ago (seriously it cant be happening yet!!!!)
...so today i was able to just chill out and relax for a few hours at my friend Carrie's pool and got a pretty sweet tan/burn. Nothing could have made me feel better faster today than a little bit of sun.
(ps thank you to all the very sweet friends that i have that have listened to me sob and stress. i love you all, you little tender mercies, you).

-WHAT THE FREAK WAS UP WITH THE JAKE AND VIENNA INTERVIEW?

also, bachelorette...you are so boring. I was so glad this interview was on afterwards because that was one long ass episode with NOTHING happening.

-I am friends with a very sweet lady who is celebrating a birthday soon.
In two weeks, in fact.
Lucky for me, she just happens to be having said birthday in Las Vegas.
Not to mention, I will be flown there, lodged in a new hotel on the strip, and with some pretty great girls.
I cannot wait for Chelsie's birthday. This is a desperately needed trip.

Isn't she the cutest? Now what the heck am i supposed to wear to a nightclub in Vegas?
I'm going to look like my friends moms.
Perhaps i will just bedazzle a shirt and pair it with some skinnies and act like I didnt want to wear a slutty dress anyway.
Also a 21st birthday in Vegas with a bunch of Mormons? HILARIOUS.
I'm sure our VIP table will be just swimming in shirley temples.
(oh and Vienna is invited...maybe she'll come and i can get the real scoop?)

-I got these shoes a while a go and I just have to say...they are as pretty as they look.

Now wishing i didnt have them. Anyone want to buy them off me ;)

-I just need to dump this major thing again.
I have the greatest friends.
Seriously, I dare you to tell me that your friends are more compassionate, loving and kinder than mine.
You will lose. And mine are also prettier.
I've had a rough couple of months and they have been so incredible.
I would name names but there literally are too many.
I am so blessed.
It's been easy for me to see the hand of the Lord in my life through my friends.
I could go on and on, but I'll spare you all the mushy gushy stuff.

-Has anyone besides my sister and I, seen "Grown Ups?" Because if not, YOU SHOULD SEE IT.
Its seriously HYSTERICAL.
I know it got like a -10% rating, but i think there was a mistake.

-Never thought the day would come when I would say I am sick of peanut butter M&Ms.
But it has. Over them.

-I started painting my nails.
I have never been one to paint my nails. It feels heavy, it chips off, and I just always liked having a short set of nails that were clean and pure.
Well I have finally learned how to apply it correctly onto my fingers, and I have been loving some of the great shades out these days...and so I have decided to be a girl with painted nails and I am not dissapointed.
My pink nails make me look finished. Sort of the same way i feel about bangs.

Hair Woes

I've been growing out my hair for the last 3 years now...
actually i havent gotten it cut since Kelsey left on her mission LAST may, gross.

please excuse the chipmunk face in the most recent photo...it's about the hair, people.

I'm just feeling blah. I always get this way when its long...
and then i chop it and then i hate it for 2.5 years.

So i am thinking perhaps one of these days i might just go blonde again?
