This week i have been in Huntington ALL WEEK. Here are the good things that have been going on...
Friday night i drove straight from Vegas to Disneyland...almost too short...BARELY made it
wow pete, youre really tall.
Saturday night a big group of us headed to Hollywood to see Meiko and Joshua Radin.
pretty good, but slow music+standing for 4 hours = kind of like taking a nap standing up.breakfast with Randy and Michael...
Monday night after a long day, we went to Disneyland again...
dont i look like a southern californian?
This picture is for you, Clay.
why does Disneyland sell turkey legs? Its gross. This woman was enjoying her turkey leg right behind us in line on Indiana Jones, and i was dry heaving the entire time.On pirates. KR had never been on Pirates of the Caribbean. I was glad i could be along with her for her first experience with old musty moldy water.
Wednesday night, it was off to Disneyland again for Lance's "26th" birthday."L" is for Lance.
Rounded off the night at Naples in Downtown Disney for some delicious pizza and even better company. Hope your birthday was exquisite, Lance.
So far, southern california is pretty fun. And my Disneyland pass is basically paid for now. Holla!

Ramblings of a Friday
- Going to Joshua Radin/Meiko tomorrow in Hollywood. Should be good.
- I made this little ditty last night for my hair and i think im in love with it.

- I think im going to Disneyland tonight, so thats fun.
- This morning i sold 6 paintings to a darling bride-to-be, for each of her bridesmaids. Cute and thoughtful huh? Mormons should be more wordly when it comes to weddings, and get their bridemaids gifts.
- My friends Peter and Mike did some pictures for me...i mentioned it on my painting blog, but i think it deserves double blogging. I have really talented friends. I am also NOT a model. Obviously. Mike's are on his photo blog and Pete doesnt have one of those so i will just put one of his here for your viewing pleasure...

- I know what happens on the Bachelor this season. I will tell you if you want to know. All im going to say is, if you are not watching this season of the Bachelor, make sure you watch the finale and the after the finale rose show. So basically block out your night, March 2nd. You have 3 hours of tv to watch. Brace yourselves...i promise it wont dissapoint.
- A bunch of us played 4square last Sunday afternoon, and i guess i got really into it cause i totally ripped my favorite jeans. Moral of the story, 4square is more of a stretchy pants, type of game.
- Does anyone know where i can buy a TON of bakers twine, like i am talking like 500-1,000 yards, on one roll? I am so sick of these baby rolls. I tie my paintings off with craft paper and red and white bakers twine (its really cute) and it would just be a lot easier to have a bulk roll. And the other thing im looking for is french netting. I want to start making bridal inspired hair clips/veils and i cant find french netting anywhere other than for a trillion and one dollars online.
- I need a book to read. One that is really entertaining. Its been a long time since i have read a fun book. I need one. Someone help me out.
- Did you know the Famous Daves cornbread muffin has the caloric equivalence to a BIG MAC??? Does that make you want to barf? It should. It sort of makes me want to go have one cause they are so delicious.
- Bought this dress at Target for 21 dollars. EVERYONE BUY IT. Its so cute. im wearing it today and i couldnt look more lovely.

- Its basically the weekend. Glory, glory.
- Dear Grey's, cut it out with the lesbians. NO ONE LIKES IT. NO ONE. Not even real lesbians.
- Sorry for the double self portraits.

Dear Jillian,
You came out of the limo on the first night looking DARLING. And then you said something totally weird about hot dogs, and instantly you fell about 20 rankings in my eyes. However over the next couple of episodes you slowly started to win be back with your fashion sense, and i wished we were best friends and the same size so that i could borrow everything you wear (except I'm not totally sold on the army green, peasant skirted raincoat you wore in Seattle). However, what was with last night? There you were, looking like the winner at the beginning wearing a really cute flannel shirt, seeming really relaxed and looking beautiful...and then you opened your mouth...and never stopped talking.
Why did you feel the need to keep going on and on "aboat" your strong connection, and the chemistry that you have and how at "the end of the day" blah blah blah....STOP IT. If you have to vocalize how strong your "connection" is, most likely you don't have one. It was painful to watch and listen to, i cant lie.
You do have a lot going for you though, it seems like America may want you to be the next bachelorette (please no), you have the best body of all of the women last night, and again...if i was giving out roses for wardrobe, you would get my final rose....
I guess really what I'm getting at is thanks for the swimsuit sex, and the weird dream. It was very entertaining.
Love, Shauna

So last night i was going through some of my stuff, trying to organize a few things and i came across a few gems from the past...High School graduation with my little brother Jordan, when i was a blondie
first round in Provo with Meredith, who i still talk to on a daily basis-we were looking hot. I have a very lovely black on black ensemble, mere was always good for the denim on denim. Total babes.
MTC-oh man. I am a baby. Oh and speaking of babies, Kim on the left has one.

What were we thinking, maci?
k so my mom is SPEEDY gonzalez, and here is one of the spam photos...we bought those shirts at kmart, (right before our photo shoot) in the Mens section. I dont think i had ever even been in kmart until then, and i was most definitely like 4 ft tall and probably 90 lbs-same with Maci. So i know we had no business buying anything in the mens section.
Why do junior high kids think they need to spend their hard earned babysitting money on portraits with their friends? Is this just a Folsom thing? Do people do this still or just in 1996? And maybe now people will understand why it is in fact NECESSARY for me to color in my eyebrows.

Blah.
Just some random thoughts.
-i painted my room in my new place this weekend. "Havana Cream" its lovely and buttery and neutral. Initially my plan was to paint it a really pale, breezy blue...but i decided that I am going to try to really make this room pretty and nice and grown up and I dont have to prove myself as a bedroom designer by using the wall color as an accessory or decoration. The buttery creaminess is going to be great and I'm really excited about it. Not so excited that i still have paint on me even after two showers. What the?
-Did anyone else besides me think that Kristen Wiig on SNL as Bjork, was like the funniest thing ever?
-Normally i am a hater of all things related to Kohl's (sorry mom, i know you love kohl's) but they sell "best friends" shirts. 2 corresponding shirts, one low price. And if you think that after this Saturday outing with Emily, i retired my friends-half shirt, you would be wrong. I could be seen wearing it around the house on Saturday AND Sunday night.
how come they didn't sell stuff like this when i was in Junior High? Maybe Maci and i wouldn't of had to wear "Spam" shirts for our lovely Kmart photo studio, photo shoot. (mom, can you actually scan that picture and email it to me please? I really feel like the world needs to see it)
-I met with a lovely lady named Barbara, at a staffing agency yesterday...let me just say that if she doesn't find me a job, i will be shocked. She was my number 1 fan. I'm actually surprised she didn't even try kissing me on the lips, that's how in love she was with me. PS who knew i could type 73 wpm without any errors? News to me.
-"Taken" and "He's Just Not That Into You" both were seen on Saturday by me. Both were enjoyed. Taken was strangely enjoyable, even though it was my worst fear being watched, and i was 100% stressed for 2 hours. HJNTIY was enjoyable because...it was also stressful. OK not really stressful, but girls are nuts. Also Scarletts got quite the rack. geez.
-Bachelor is boring now. All the crazies are gone. Pick Melissa and lets move on already. Deanna is retarded, and i just want to see Jason breakdown.
-WTF Chris Brown?

James Paintings
I'm just about done with these two...Syndey and Sam. Their mom wanted them to have backgrounds that the kids would love, so Syd got a pretty damask (adding butterflies to it tonight per Syds request) and race cars for Sam. At first the race car thing i wasn't so sure about but i think it turned out really cute!
Hope you like them Amy!
