A lot of times i thought you sucked so bad, but now i am glad you happened.

I am however, thrilled, to be moving on.

New Year, New Hair?

Why am I never satisfied with my hair color?
It seems like every couple of months i write a blog post about changing it up.

Right now, my hair looks like this.

well actually thats at thanksgiving, but you get the idea.

a few weeks ago at church, a friend of mine said
"i know i dont do hair, but if you want i could do your roots...they are really bad"
Huh. Well thats sort of the point and i know some people dont get it, but i dont really care.
I love my ombre color, and those that do get it, love it too.
I get compliments like crazy.
Especially when its curled and messy like a movie star :)

But part of me (the ADD hair part of me) wants a change.
Which really isn't a change. its more like back to the same.


Dark and silky.
Its my go-to. I know it works for me.
There is nothing to "get."

Help me, friends.
Unless of course you are amish with no style and then your opinion doesn't really matter.

Post Christmas Wrap Up

This year we headed to Vegas to my sisters house for tons o fun.

Christmas Day meant playing a lot of XBox Kinect


Finding out that Jordan and Kristine are having a boy!


and of course getting the best gifts.
The hot shoes that i so desperately wanted, were hunted down by my man on ebay.
So darling.
And my mom got me that sewing machine that i am THRILLED about.
He also got me some oversized sterling silver diamond earrings (CZ duh)
that my 2 yr old nephew threw into the sink.
SADDEST MOMENT OF CHRISTMAS

Second saddest moment:

Stepping in glass and having to undergo major surgery on the couch.

Christmas is 100% better when you're in love.

But you know what sucks?
Coming home to clean your room and organize your clothes
and only being able to fit about 1/4 of my clothes in my closet.
Seriously

it blows.
I have no idea what to do with the 4 other piles of clothes that need to be hung.

Its in 2 sleeps!

Ugly Sweater Parties

Can you believe that before this year I had never been to an Ugly Sweater party?

I'm 27 years old. It's about time it happened.

Last week I went to Leanne's Christmas sweater birthday party.

All my favorite people were there.

I'm the one who looks like I'm 45 in the year 1991.

On friday night, Jasey and I went to my friend Jen's little festivus.

Ugly Sweater parties are FUN.

Happy Thanksgiving, everybody

I only took one picture (not true, it was a series of the same picture) on Thanksgiving day.


Jasey came home with me to Folsom for Thanksgiving.

We hung out with the Thomsons and Baileys, went to La Bou (twice),
saw a couple of movies, and just hung out with the fam.

the nephews helped my mom put up Christmas decorations
(Lincoln liked the stockings, and maybe i taught him to put them on as really high socks? so what)


We went to Apple Hill, which I haven't done in years.

Its cold there.
And there are tons of white trash people.


We sort of take a lot of pictures.


We rounded off the weekend with a quick stop at Sacrament Meeting

Back in LA. Back to real life.

Dumping the ol Brain (and iPhoto)

-When we went to Disneyland, my nephew Jack
formed a very quick, yet adorable, obsession for my man.
Jack loves to draw, and Jasey is an art teacher
so we decided that drawing jack a picture would be perfect.

i wish you could see the drawing better.

-This last weekend we went to UCB on a double date with my friends Mike and Lindsey.
This here blog is the reason they ever met.
Mike spotted a picture of her on my blog and said "SIGN ME UP THAT GIRL IS PRETTY!"
Maybe not that exact thing, but basically.

He was in town from Maine and we had a really fun time.

We met up afterwards with my friend Sunni and her girlfriend at a coffee shop.
It was a diverse and random group but everyone had fun and it was a really good night.
Plus, Tim Meadows was in the UCB group and thats always fun.

-I love Hot Chocolate these days

i have had it everyday. LA IS COLD, yo.

-Went to the Old Folks home tonight to visit.

-Today is the first day in 2 weeks that I haven't seen Jasey.

So we videochatted and it just wasn't the same.
We are going to Folsom tomorrow for Thanksgiving,
so we will probably get enough of eachother over the next week.

-He sent me this picture last week of the clothes he was planning on wearing to church.
I AM OBSESSED WITH HOW CUTE THE EMAIL AND THIS PICTURE WAS.

Hes probably going to roll his eyes that i am posting this.
But isnt he so cute???

-I was on the bus the other day,
and Adam from the Real World Paris was sitting across from me.

he totally knew i was taking his picture.

-Tulips are my favorite flower.

I got some this week.

DISNEYLAND!

On Saturday, we went to the happiest place on earth for a little Disney action with my sisters family.
The park was decorated for Christmas and was super festive and pretty.

It was Jasey's first time to magical Disneyland, so it was extra fun.
Of course he was sort of a tourist with his camera.

The only thing new for me that we did was the Ferris Wheel in California Adventure,
which was actually quite nice and I think I shall do it again on my next trip.


Of course the newbie had to get a California Adventure Corndog.
I think he liked it.


I look like the most tired person on planet earth.


oh wait, i look WAY more tired here.
Seriously i promise i wasn't high, my eyes are so red.

Living alone, NOT OVERRATED

Unfortunately i don't live alone.

But these things happened this week while living alone.


Meredith and i went on a lezzy date to the UCB facebook show.
She was called up on stage to be made fun of and it was awesome.

I dress like a hobo in a flannel everyday and a ballet bun, and guess what?
its totally fine.

My friend Jana came and visited for a few days and we shared
the 20 piece chicken McNuggets from McDonald's.
For the record, she ate 11 and i ate 9.
It probably wasn't the best idea but it seemed like the best idea at the time.
We also visited some celebrity homes, hit up Westside Pavillion, the Promenade, and the Grove.

I went to Toast and ran into Adrianna from 90210.
Shes really pretty.


My friend Chelsie was on the cover of Fitness magazine
and she had me paint the cover for posterity's sake.
If my body looked like that my room would be covered in bikini paintings of myself.

I discovered that I really like men with beards.
Maybe just one man with one beard.


I'm supposed to live in LA because facebook even thinks so.

I just wish i lived in LA alone.
Oh well. A girl can dream.
