I know you love your animals. I've explained before that I don't understand the love that some humans have for dogs and cats...that maybe that portion of my heart is missing. This letter though is not to discuss the love for your creature. I need to bring something up. It's important.
I don't think you know this, but your house smells. Sometimes it stinks, but it always smells. Maybe dogs were created to be our friends. To help us not be lonely. Maybe they were created to teach children responsibility. I know one thing is for sure...they were not created to live inside your house.
I know you think that your house is clean. It might even look like this...
but I'm sorry...ITS NOT CLEAN TO HAVE ANIMALS LIVING IN YOUR HOME. Your house looks like this in my eyes.
it makes me not want to come over. IT SMELLS. And it can't possibly be clean.
Maybe the jokes on me, and this is your way of not having to un-invite me over since i wont be coming anyway....but seriously. I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO FEELS THIS WAY.
If you love your pets, give them their own home. You wouldn't want to live with a family of dogs in a doghouse would you? NO.
Stop being gross and stop trying to mask the smell. Throw the pups and kitties in the backyard.

Right there with you... Everytime I think about getting a dog I think about the hair, smell & cost of owning a pet. I work w/so many people who think their animals are people. It makes me nuts!!

almost as bad? when people name their pets real human names. like "john" or "tabitha". IT'S NOT A HUMAN PERSON OK. at one of my old jobs my boss had a bird named "kelly". A FREAKING BIRD. seriously.

sick sick sick. i nannied at a house once and it smelt like awful cat stank. THEN one or two of the cats peed on my purse. delightful.

It really sucks when you meet someone you want to be friends with....and then you find out they have pets....sorry, can't be friends.
