My headboard is now on my bed, and im in love with it.
Its not perfect, which i like.

i think i'll curl up and read "the time travelers wife" tonight.

now i just need to get some bright euro shams, and a lampshade...
special thanks goes out to Neil Scofield for cutting the wood for me, and to martha for being my little helper/slave tonight, and claire for use of her staple gun.
ps...in case youre wondering how its made, i just bought 2 yards of natural canvas at joannes for 10 bucks and hand embroidered it with black yarn.

I love it! It turned out so good...
I am so proud of you right now. Little Shauna is all grown up with a big girl headboard. Congrats.
love this!
So cute! Good work!
A-mazing. There is a job opening at Martha Stewart Weddings here in New York, and I thought about applying, but then I thought about all your talents and thought "This is a job for someone like Shauna."
love it. i'm placing my order now!
