NYE (a little late)

I just got these pictures from New Years Eve, and although its almost a month late...
better late than never, right?

This year for New Years we celebrated with a night in at Jasey's apartment.
Stopped by Albertsons for tons of delicious crap food and a couple bottles of bubbly
martinellis for me, of course

I wanted to get dressed up...cause you know, it was New years...
no one else did.
Whoops.

So they've got some neighbors that are Armenian, and like SERIOUSLY straight from Armenia.
It's like an episode of 24 over there, not the Kardashians.
A couple of the neighbor dudes came over with a bottle of Don Perignon

here Mick is modeling the $180 bottle of wine from the neighbors.


we laughed and played board games and watched SNL and it was way better than doing anything else.

As for New Years Resolutions...i keep forgetting to make them.

If one of my goals is to eat more candy than regular food, than i am RIGHT ON TRACK.

-How much are you loving the Bachelor?
I was a huge fan of Brad Womack before, and i still am,
but is it just me or is he like real boring now?
Bach never dissapoints when it comes to casting crazies, though, do they?

-I went to the Griffith Observatory TWICE last week.
I had never been before, and i just love that place.
Its so magical.
The first time i was there, it was like a wednesday afternoon and they just so happened to be filming this date for "the Mormon Bachelor" Hilarious.



I love where i live, so much.

-I found my real camera, finally.
I want to say, no more of these iPhone photos, but thats probably not true.
I'm going to try hard to remember to use it.

-Yesterday i spent the day with my friend Jen.
It was so fun and so nice.
We went to HD Buttercup to get some furniture ordered for her boss,
and ran into Lindsey Lohan.
She bought a pillow.
(and she looked really cute and healthy and i want to say HOORAY FOR YOU LiLo!)

-My 6 yr old nephew bought me a Mood Ring for Christmas.
Its adorable, and i wish i could wear it, but i just cant.
If anyone wants to find out what their mood is though, let me know.

-Painting business is going great.
I feel really blessed there.
Its not even Christmas and i'm getting orders? What?!

-I passed this mural the other day on a walk.

She brought her over (her name is Kitty Kitty Bang Bang).
I wasnt a fan, but im glad Bang Bang is in good hands.

-My friend Ty just moved here from Utah.
I'm thrilled.
He joined Jen and I at dinner last night at Cafe Rio...
a little reminder of home for him.
Can't wait till Brandon follows him out here next month.

-Lots of exciting things are happening that i cant really share yet, but life is good.

-So glad all my shows are back.
My DVR will be complete once Kourtney and Kim take New York finally starts.

I get an unnatural obsession to some things, mostly music.

This time, its the movie "Country Strong"

How many times have i watched Gwyneth "Shake that thing?"
Probably more times than you would guess.

I saw it on friday night, and then i dragged Jasey to see it again last night.
I LOVE IT.
I haven't loved a movie this much since probably Hairspray.

I'm telling you, give me a movie with a performance (or SEVERAL) and its a fave.
See it, and then tell me how much you loved it.

Or you can tell me that you hated it and then i will just know you're an idiot.

I just love country music.
It makes me want to be a little white trash,
and it looks like it makes Gwyneth want to be a little white trash too.

2 things today boosted my mood.

my new sneakers took me on a great run at the gym

and my friend Peter gave me his moms vintage tortoise shell Armani Sunglasses.

A lot of times i thought you sucked so bad, but now i am glad you happened.

I am however, thrilled, to be moving on.

New Year, New Hair?

Why am I never satisfied with my hair color?
It seems like every couple of months i write a blog post about changing it up.

Right now, my hair looks like this.

well actually thats at thanksgiving, but you get the idea.

a few weeks ago at church, a friend of mine said
"i know i dont do hair, but if you want i could do your roots...they are really bad"
Huh. Well thats sort of the point and i know some people dont get it, but i dont really care.
I love my ombre color, and those that do get it, love it too.
I get compliments like crazy.
Especially when its curled and messy like a movie star :)

But part of me (the ADD hair part of me) wants a change.
Which really isn't a change. its more like back to the same.


Dark and silky.
Its my go-to. I know it works for me.
There is nothing to "get."

Help me, friends.

Post Christmas Wrap Up

This year we headed to Vegas to my sisters house for tons o fun.

we, of course, means me and THIS HUNK

Christmas Day meant playing a lot of XBox Kinect


Finding out that Jordan and Kristine are having a boy!


and of course getting the best gifts.
The hot shoes that i so desperately wanted, were hunted down by my man on ebay.
So darling.
And my mom got me that sewing machine that i am THRILLED about.
He also got me some oversized sterling silver diamond earrings (CZ duh)
that my 2 yr old nephew threw into the sink.
SADDEST MOMENT OF CHRISTMAS

Second saddest moment:

Stepping in glass and having to undergo major surgery on the couch.

Christmas is 100% better when you're in love.

But you know what sucks?
Coming home to clean your room and organize your clothes
and only being able to fit about 1/4 of my clothes in my closet.
Seriously

it blows.
I have no idea what to do with the 4 other piles of clothes that need to be hung.
