As stated before in a previous post, i'm visiting my hometown of Folsom for a bit.
The other night, i did a drive by of the 3 homes i lived in here and it was sort of nostalgic, mostly i felt like a really creepy lady. But for the sake of journaling...here they are.

North Lexington Drive House
My family moved to Folsom in the summer of 1991. I remember being devastated leaving my best friend Allie Hobbins and my school Trabuco Canyon Elementary. I shared a room with my sister Megan (the room on the top left), she used to coach my to sleep ("wiggle your toes...now toes to sleep....now shins to sleep, knees to sleep" so weird, and i thought she had magical powers like she was trained as a 6th grader to hypnotize me to sleep), we would listen to the hip hop station 102.5 at night ("in between the sheets" really appropriate for children), have fun playing with balloons and drawing faces on them and making balloon families like they were barbies (i was weird). North Lexington is the house where we welcomed and also said goodbye, to our family dog, the Maltepoo known as Scruffy (he was run over by a car). I also remember building a "teepee" in the backyard and staying in it for hours while snacking on saltines, pretending it was the only food left on earth or something weird (i guess i was an imaginative child). I also remember collecting bark and trying to wittle the bark into people or boats and thinking i could get good at it and sell them. OH GEEZ. I was like 9 and 10 so relax everyone.
I should also make note that this house is where i officially started my awkward stage as shown above. Erin is wearing the shortest of shorts and holding that dumb dumb dog Scruffy.

Keller Circle House
A year or two later we moved around the corner to Keller Circle. I started walking to school with Erin Silva, my next door neighbor. I was excited to live so close to Erin and Lisa White. My enemy Stephanie George lived across the street, we were on the same soccer team and for some reason we didnt like eachother. We became friends in HS and still couldnt remember why we didnt like eachother. I used to love jumping on our trampoline in the backyard, dragging it to the basketball court and loving being able to slamdunk. Our backyard had strawberries and kiwis and grapes that grew...that i dont ever remember eating, but i thought it was really cool. This is where we got our first cordless phone, I used to love sitting outside with my friends on the tramp and pushing the channel button over and over until we could listen in on a neighbors conversation.
My dad and sister had a paper route, and so we always ended up with sunday paper samples. I specifically remember living off boxes and boxes of cheddar sunchips leftover from the paper. It seemed like we had those for years. My mom used to hide the lunch treats (like the little debbie cakes and stuff) in the laundry room cabinets, and we always found them and ransacked those really fast. This is also the house where my sister Erin got her eyebrow pierced (didnt go over so well). She was ordered to wear a bandaid over it. HILARIOUS.

Brattleboro Ct House
We moved here when i was in Highschool, maybe jr high? And i loved it because we moved next door to Mike Cuevas, who was a year older than me in school and TOTALLY hot. He played basketball, as did I, and we would sometimes play together in the front yard. It took years for us to actually become friends, i was always to nervous to be normal. HILARIOUS. My mom thought it would be a good idea to get a dog here...who knows why. So she brought home a little teeny black cockerspaniel that Jordan named Barkley, after Charles Barkley. I liked that dog for approximately 1 week and then hated it. I used to get paid 20 bucks to mow that lawn. I think i used my first 20 bucks from lawnmowing for a pair of daisy duke shorts at Clothestime. HAHAHAH. My sister Megan started dating Justin (my brother in law) when we lived here. She would basically lock herself in my moms room and sit on the bed talking to him on the phone. I caught them making out once in our bedroom with the door closed. He had his hands on her butt and I WAS LIVID. HOW DARE HE? I guess I was a big time 14 yr old prude. I painted my room with blue stripes here, and got really serious about decorating...it involved a lot of Abercrombie bags hanging on the walls, Roxy ads ripped from magazines on the door and a denim quilt. It was obviously a REALLY cute room.
Oh Folsom. You are Hilarious.

Which house was it that had the wall posters of Jonathan Taylor Thomas?
LOL. I did read the whole thing... gold star for me! ...and are you sure you weren't growing up in SCV? Looks the same. Swear it. PS. you're still a prude. ;)
I read every word. It was very entertaining.
Sherri, JTT was exclusively on Keller Circle.
I just read that whole thing. Why? I really don't know. You look the exact same as a baby and an adult.
