the one picture i have with me in it, i felt like an idiot "um excuse me, would you mind taking my picture?" dumb tourist.
the plaque at the head of Dealey Plaza
the fence where the 2nd shooter was "supposedly" standing behind atop the Grassy Knoll.
the view of the "2nd shooter"
(the X on the ground is where the 2nd bullet hit President Kennedy)
a perfect view of the entire scene, on the Tripple Underpass.
When i found out that i was coming to Dallas i asked a few of my Dallas friends what there was to do, and Stephen from work told me i should go to the "grassy knoll" which i didnt even know was in Dallas...a Rangers Game, and to Six Flags. Well i have no interest in going to a Rangers game or to Six Flags, but seeing a peice of History is always right up my alley. So i made the trip Downtown to see it. It was pretty cool/creepy. There were all kinds of homeless people that were selling brochures and magazines all about the assasinations (dont worry i didnt contribute to their drinking fund), and seeing some of their pictures, like Jackie O picking up a piece of the Presidents skull off the car, and his blood spraying on her...and then looking up from the picture and seeing the exact surroundings of it was pretty mind blowing. For a split second i felt like i was in the 60's, right out of Hairpsray, standing there in my little plaid poofy dress and cardigan. It was weird. What was even weirder is that people make it their job to sit there and tell you all about it and sell pictures of the blood spray. Gross.

Yeah, I went to the "sixth floor museum" the first time I went to Dallas. It was pretty neat, although I didn't walk around the grassy knoll. Fun stuff.
