When i was in Vegas for thanksgiving, my sister gave me some wooden trees that she inherited from my moms christmas decorations...and i took them thinking i could spruce them up with some paint. So yesterday instead of my usual ALL AFTERNOON sunday nap, i decided to paint.

this is what they looked like before. a Beautiful forest green color with white speckles. Probably the-toothbrush-dipped-in-white-paint-and-then-splattered technique.
here is the finished product. A snowflake, reindeer, bare tree and pinecone.
and their home on the piano.

Those are adorable! You did a great job sprucing them up. I made those at a Super Sat when we lived in Mission Viejo. And you are right... we splattered them with a toothbrush!
I like them a lot.
P.S. I have that box from IKEA
Yeah I don't know why I didn't keep them now! They look MUCH better.
