A couple of my friends have been doing this for years, where they pick a different Latin based eatery to dine at together on Fridays. And recently i was invited to participate. This past Friday marked my one month anniversary of Latin lunch, so i thought i would include some of the pictures that Richard supplied me with.
here we are at Lon's Cooking Shack. I know what you're thinking "Lon's is a BBQ place" and well, you're right, except for the original Lon's on Canyon Rd, is now owned and operated by a darling Chilean couple. They have the normal Lon's BBQ, but also another menu of Chilean food.

Anyway, two thumbs up for Chilean food. Two thumbs down for Bona Brazil on state. I realize its probably not gross, and i shouldn't give it thumbs down just because i cant stomach MOST foods. But their were octopus tentacles in the soup, that's all I'm saying.

Shauna, you have more friends than the amount of people I've ever met in my life. When you get married that wedding is going to be one huge party. More importantly, have you tried Sam's Club sweet corn from Wal-Mart?
