Ok,we went to the rascal flatts concert last night (we won tickets a couple months back) and it was pretty entertaining.
Aside from the fun of singing along to some of my favorites, and loving the lead singer's (Gary) bedazzled outfit-we were able to see a few other entertaining things.
EXHIBIT A: Superfan. Who i am pretty sure actually THOUGHT he was the singer/songwriter/megastar and was meant to be on stage.
EXHIBIT B: A very unlikely fan. I know you cant tell from the picture, but he was singing "life is a highway" like there was no tomorrow.
EXHIBIT C: An onstage proposal right before "God Blessed the Broken Road" how fitting right? You think thats going to be their wedding song? Ha.
Also there was a girl dancing like a crazy person for the ENTIRE intermission between kellie Pickler and Rascal Flatts. I took a video but it didnt turn out good. But it was a good solid 20 minutes of dancing, and she was thinking she was pretty cute but she was the exact opposite of that.
Anyway, it was a good time, a good show, and it was REAL good cause it was free. Joe Don sang one of my favorites "Pieces" and the drummer sang another favorite "You." Elisabeth mentioned on the view that when she went, during "He Aint the Leaving Kind" the marines came out...and they did that again. It was pretty cool. And who knew that song was religious? My sister and i were both like "ohhh what? this song is religious?" i guess we had never listened to the words.
Rascal Flatts= good show. Everyone go buy a ticket (or win a ticket) and go, cause it was SUPERB.

Just so everyone knows I am not that ugly or fat in real life....thanks sissy for putting such a beautiful picture up of me!
I really like Rascal Flatts, but when we saw them in concert I was a little disappointed because they kept singing other people's songs and not their own. Nevertheless, it was a great concert and Gary's voice is unbelievable.
Sounds awesome. And, I'm glad you took it all in and documented the crazies (b/c I'm sure there plentiful in those crowds).
Holla Rascal! Sorry we didn't come to Jordan's reception we really had intentions of coming, but my Parent Teacher Conferences went later than expected. LAME!! Double LAME!!! TRIPLE LAME!!

Yeah! That is so funny we both saw them last weekend.... that'd be crazy to be on the road so much! But yeah, they were great!!! How fun you won tickets! It's more enjoyable when you didn't have to pay, huh? ;)
sounds like lots of fun! I love people watching at concerts, especially country concerts!! Some great people to look at.
Thanks Shauna, that would be great! My email is natariley@yahoo.com. And since I assume your Mom reads your blog, thanks Amy for the sweet comment on my blog! I have no other way to contact you! It really was so great to meet you all and get to spend some time. Kristine has a wonderful new family, I am so excited for her!
Shauna-- The funfetti cake truffles:
Make a funfetti cake like it says on the box. After it cools, crumble it up and mix in a container of icing.Form in to little balls. Stick them in the freezer to harden and then melt white chocolate chips and dips the cake balls in them. You can also drizzle chocolate on top. Wish I could have tasted them!:)
