This last weekend i made the trek home for Kelsey and Glen's wedding. Here are a few highlights...
The new Mrs. Bailey spitting her gum out into her husbands hand.
kelsey looked SO pretty.
aren't they darling?
Raquel keeping the kids distracted at the Temple with skittles.
Kaisa and Rafe posing
Rocia pointed this one out and i couldnt help but take a picture. This bridesmaid (from another bridal party) the one in solid turquoise is wearing nude/pantyhose leggings. Is this a new thing? Am i supposed to like it? I cant figure it out. Someone tell me what is going on.
Maddox just relaxing at the reception (it was 1 trillion degrees)
the gift table. Due to lack of funds from travel i decided to take the risky approach to the traditional wedding gift of something from their registry, and painted them a picture based off a photo of the happy couple. It turned out a lot better than i imagined it would.
My travel companion, Ben
Sweaty at the end of the night. I told Kaisa i would photoshop this to make us a little more matte but i havent gotten around to it. Sorry girl.

That leggings thing is the worst thing I've seen in my lifetime. If my bridesmaid tried to do that, I'd choke her. (or just ask her nicely to take them off. NOW.)
First of all, I am glad you made it. Secondly, the gift did turn out nice (the little pre-painting dot-to-dot had me worried.) Most importantly, forget any source of support or tan, shaven legs illusion...the squeezing-sausage nylon is all I wear these days.
Also your hair looks cute in the pictures
shauna i love the painting, i will be expecting one soon and you need to stop giving these out for free. you could totally sell them since they are art! love it!
I agree with the patrick family. Why are you giving these paintings away? SELL THEM! Unless of course you want to give me one before you start selling them.
OK Miss Picasso. Seriously I had no idea you were such an artist (pronounced ar-tEEst). I want one of me and AJ! Or me and a celebrity...
Three things I would like ot comment on:
1-Love your hair
2-I am definately ANTI LEGGINGS at any point...but with a bridesmaid dress. Really?
3-Love the gift, way creative and much better than the crockpot.
hey gurl... cute pics! love to see familiar faces:)
awesome pics, can you please send me directions for the photo painting....awesome. my email is rocia.lake@gmail.com
Shauna-- you look so pretty! You painted that pic of them? You should start a business doing that- it seriously is amazing. I didn't know you had those kind of skills, too! I love it!
Just doing my usual blogstalking and thought I'd say hi. : )
How did I miss that bridesmaid with the leggings at the temple??? So classic. I'm so glad you got a picture. I didn't know you were the one who did that painting - I kept looking at it on the gift table and wondering who it was from because it is so good!
Holy Cow, I LOVE the pic that you painted for them!!! GREAT idea!!! You go girl!!!
Love ya,
Shaila B
I would pay for one(i'm being dead serious). You are GOOD!
Check out westelm.com
I love it.
Yay! Finally some pictures of this wedding, i asked my mom to send me some, but that didnt happen.
Thanks for capturing it! And what an artist you are! Seriously.
the art was way better in person. Can I get some of that? I don't understand how you just "whip" things like that out. Wait. Yes I do. You've got major skills, skills that I will use. Just start a business already. AT LEAST an etsy shop.
And Maddox?! That is so cute. Thank you Cleo, for letting us use your camera.
I love the picture of Kaisa and Rafe. His outfit is hilarious. I'm so glad your painting was propped up. I stood by the table for a minute or two and heard so many, "o my's" "that is so cool", etc. Move back already. we miss you.
Shauna, I'm impressed with your artwork!
Also, I am convinced that the bridesmaid was not wearing leggins, rather, spanx (or soemthing like it). Target has a brand that reaches mid-calf like that). Thanks for documenting this.
